What goes in the dumpster — and what doesn't.

A quick guide to what Haul Hounds dumpsters accept, what needs special handling, and what's prohibited outright. When in doubt, call us before you load it — it's faster to ask than to pay a contamination fee later.

  • Municipal solid waste — commercial trash, office and retail waste, food-service waste
  • Small non-freon appliances — microwaves, toasters, and similar
  • Construction & demolition — wood, drywall, plaster, flooring, non-asbestos insulation, windows, doors, siding
  • Concrete, brick & masonry — concrete, block, brick, asphalt

  • Non-contaminated dirt/soil
